Monthly Photo Contest

CONTEST RULES

Capture photos of your Belize adventures at Matachica Resort and enter our Monthly Photo Contest for a chance to win two free nights in a Seaview Beach Casita at Matachica, including complimentary wine or champagne upon arrival.

Entry

  1. Entrants must be past hotel guests at Matachica. Diners at Mambo do not qualify.
  2. To enter, you must follow Matachica Resort on Instagram and upload your images with the hashtag #matachicacontest and tag us @matachica.
  3. Each post is a unique entry.
  4. Only the first photo in a carousel post will be considered.
  5. Instagram stories do not qualify.
  6. Each photo may only be entered once.
  7. Entrants may submit as many unique entries as they like.

 Selection

  1. Prospective winners will be contacted by the Matachica team via Instagram DM to verify that they meet qualifying criteria.
  2. The winning photo is selected by Matachica’s marketing team and announced on our Instagram page on the first Friday of each month.
  3. In order to be eligible to win, you must not have won in the previous 2 years.

Redemption

  1. Prizes are redeemable within one year of winning the contest. (Two years for 2020 winners in light of COVID-19).
  2. Prizes may not be redeemed between December 19th and January 8th.

  1. By entering this contest and submitting your photos, you grant Matachica Resort permission to publish them on our websites, e-newsletters and social media accounts.
